Day 1 – Cairo


Upon arrival to Cairo, You’ll be met by our representative in Cairo and assisted with visa and customs formalities. Proceed to check in to your hotel.

 


Day 2 – Cairo (Pyramids, Sakkara, and Memphis)


After breakfast your private Egyptologist tour guide and driver will pick up you and start your tour. Drive to Giza and visit the Pyramids. See the Great Pyramid, a royal burial chamber and the Sphinx. Continue to Memphis, capital of the pharaohs during the Old Kingdom. Visit the recumbent statue of Ramses II and the 80-ton alabaster sphinx. Lunch en route; Continue to Sakkara to see the prototype of the Pyramids, the Step Pyramid, built for the 3rd Dynasty pharaoh Djoser by the exalted architect Imhotep. Back to the hotel, overnight. Day 3 – Cairo (Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Old Cairo)


After breakfast visit the Egyptian Museum, this houses a magnificent collection of Pharaonic antiquities, especially the golden treasures of Tut Ankh Amun. Lunch en route.

In the afternoon you will proceed to Old Cairo to visit the citadel of Salah El Din, and the Mohammed Ali Mosque situated high above the city, Continue to visit the Church of Abu Serga, Moallaqa Church (Hanging Church) and Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt. Overnight at hotel. (B,L)

 


Day 4– Luxor – East bank (Karnak & Luxor Temple)


In the morning, depart Cairo by air to Luxor. Upon arrival our representative will pick up you for embarkation on your Nile Cruise. Lunch on board. Visit the great Luxor Temple and the magnificent Karnak Temple of Amun with its famous Hypostyle Hall and the 134 huge columns, the Statue of Ramses II, the Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut and the Sacred Lake. Dinner and overnight on board (B, L, D)



Day 5 – West Bank (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Memnon)
Breakfast, visit the west Bank (Thebes) where some of the richest treasures in the world exists, including the Tomb of Tut Ankh Amun (optional) and other royal tombs including Ramses VI in the Valley of the Kings, you will be able to visit some of these tombs, visit Hatshepsut funerary temple at Dier El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Esna, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board (B, L, D)

 


Day 6 – Cruise (Edfu & Kom-Ombo)


In the morning, visit the Horus Temple of Edfu, one of the three beautiful temples of the Ptolemaic Period.
Lunch on board. Sail to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Sobek Temple, dedicated to the two gods, which offers beautiful murals and reliefs sail to Aswan and Overnight (B, L, D)

 


Day 7 – Aswan (High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, Philae, Felucca)


After breakfast you will visit the High Dam, and the Granite Quarries and the Philae Temple. In the afternoon you will sail on an Egyptian felucca around Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 8– Aswan / Cairo – Final departure


Breakfast, disembarkation. Flight back to Cairo, connection for your final departure. (B)

  • Travel Insurance is required for this tour. You will be asked to provide your Travel insurance information after your booking is confirmed. It must cover cancellations, medical expenses, evacuations, flight loss or delays and 24/7 assistance.

  • As much as we want for this trip to go exactly as planned, we can't predicted complications that may arise; due to inclement weather and/or closures due to uncontrollable circumstances like Covid-19.  We will do our very best to make onsite scheduling adjustments as needed, but please note that all listed and intended activities are weather permitting.  No refunds will be given if an activity has to be pulled.  Additionally, the tour is listed as a package, and no price adjustments will be given if someone wants to "opt-out" of an included activity

  • Not liable  to any losses, damages, accidents, injuries, death, or sickness during your trip. The same applies to any changes in trip schedule due to weather, strikes, or any other force majeure. Service providers reserve the right to change routes, schedules, and itineraries if needed because of weather, road conditions or should the necessity arise because of unforeseen reasons or circumstances.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you protect your investment with travel insurance. Cancellation and interruption insurance covers in case of cancellation due to an insurable reason. We require adequate out of country medical insurance for unforeseen medical emergencies while traveling. The All Inclusive Plan includes emergency and health coverage and cancellation/interruption insurance. The rate for travel insurance is determined by the cost of the tour (can be increased to cover flights and other extras), the length of travel and your age.

It is the responsibility of the passengers to verify documentation requirements directly with the embassy or consulate of the country of travel. Customs and/or immigration officials can deny a person entry into their country at their own discretion. We strongly recommend traveling with a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. Please be aware that different living standards and practices exist outside of North America including but not limited to provisions of utilities, accommodations and services of all kinds.
