13 Days

Starting from/ending in Marrakech.

Day 01: Arrival in Marrakech

Depends on your arrival at Marrakech airport, our driver guide will be waiting for you then transfer to your riad in the Medina. You’ll have a chance to relax on this day prior to our welcome dinner. Overnight in your Riad.

 

Day 02: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Rose Valley - Dades valley

You will start your journey southward to Dades valley via Tizi n’Tichka pass. you will visit the Berber village of Ait BenHaddou, it was established in the 11th century, its position on the main Marrakech to the sahara route, meant it was an ideal stop off for traders taking salt across the desert and returning with goods such as gold and ivory. After lunch you will continue to Dades valley through the rose valley. Dinner and overnight at your riad/hotel.

Day 03: Dades valley - Todra gorges - Sahara Desert

Depart in the morning to the Sahara desert via Todra gorges, where you will take a walk to explore these magnificent and narrow gorges. After lunch, continue to Erfoud city for a visit to a local fossil craft workshop. Continuing to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi. Where you will ride camels attending the sunset and spend the evening in a desert camp, enjoy a Moroccan dinner, listen to Berber music, you can join by drumming and dancing. Overnight in a private tent.

Day 04: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani - Merzouga

Wake-up to a spectacular sunrise in the desert, have breakfast in the camp then you will start an amazing trip alongside the dunes while passing by the oasis, visit Khamlia village to listen Gnaoua musicians, then short drive will take you to Rissani to experience the authentic local market, lunch in Rissani and return to Merzouga. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Sahara Desert - Midelt - Ifrane - Fes

After breakfast. We will start our trip to Fes via Erfoud and Ziz Valley enjoying its palm plantation. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue your journey to Fes via Ifrane where you will have the opportunity to see the largest forest of cedar trees in the region that is inhabited by the Barbary Apes. Arrive to Fes early evening.

Day 06: Explore Fes

Today in this UNESCO World Heritage city you will have a guided visit. You will visit the medieval medina with its Attarine Madrasa, Nejjarine fountain, the tanneries, the Karaouine mosque, the royal palace gate and a ceramic workshop. Spend the night in the same riad.

Day 07: Fes - Chefchaouen

Travel to Chefchaouen via Ouazzan and Rif Mountains. Load up your cameras! Its blue-washed houses, narrow cobbled streets, and mountainous backdrop create a tranquil and photographic setting. Spend the night in Chefchaouen.

Day 8: Explore Chefchaouen

You will spend the day exploring the charming city of Chefchaouen located in the Rif Mountains. It is famous for its bright blue color of its buildings and is very popular for both tourists and Moroccans, particularly in the hot summer months. Explore Chefchaouen, with its winding lanes and narrow alleys. Overnight at the same accommodation in Chefchaouen.

Day 09: Chefchaouen - Rabat

After breakfast we will drive to the capital of Morocco; Rabat where you will visit the Mohamed 5th Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower; minaret of an incomplete mosque initiated by the Almohad ruler, Yaacoub al-Mansour. Overnight in Rabat.

 

Day 10: Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech

 

Today we will continue our journey back to Marrakech with a visit to Hassan 2nd mosque in Casablanca. Overnight in Marrakech.

           Day 11: Explore Marrakech                

                                                      

Today you will have a guided tour of Marrakech Medina including: Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Minaret, The Medina and Souks. In the afternoon we will visit the dynamic Djemaa el fna square where you will get to see the famous snake charmers, singers, acrobats, dancers and storytellers that frequent the area. Overnight at the same riad.

Day 12: Free day in Marrakech

Today is a free day in Marrakech. If you’re interested, we can book you a cooking class, a Hammam experience or you can take a horse carriage ride to visit Majorelle garden. Any activities today are extra. Overnight at the same riad.

Day 13: Marrakech (transfer to airport)    

                                              

After breakfast at the riad, transfer to the airport depends on your flight departure.

  • Travel Insurance is required for this tour. You will be asked to provide your Travel insurance information after your booking is confirmed. It must cover cancellations, medical expenses, evacuations, flight loss or delays and 24/7 assistance.

  • As much as we want for this trip to go exactly as planned, we can't predicted complications that may arise; due to inclement weather and/or closures due to uncontrollable circumstances like Covid-19.  We will do our very best to make onsite scheduling adjustments as needed, but please note that all listed and intended activities are weather permitting.  No refunds will be given if an activity has to be pulled.  Additionally, the tour is listed as a package, and no price adjustments will be given if someone wants to "opt-out" of an included activity

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you protect your investment with travel insurance. Cancellation and interruption insurance covers in case of cancellation due to an insurable reason. We require adequate out of country medical insurance for unforeseen medical emergencies while traveling. The All Inclusive Plan includes emergency and health coverage and cancellation/interruption insurance. The rate for travel insurance is determined by the cost of the tour (can be increased to cover flights and other extras), the length of travel and your age.

It is the responsibility of the passengers to verify documentation requirements directly with the embassy or consulate of the country of travel. Customs and/or immigration officials can deny a person entry into their country at their own discretion. We strongly recommend traveling with a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date. Please be aware that different living standards and practices exist outside of North America including but not limited to provisions of utilities, accommodations and services of all kinds.
